ABOUT ME 

"I was born in The Netherlands and moved to British Columbia in 1978, just after I finished my university in (1978).  After a few years of teaching, the art of selling Real Estate seemed more appealing and now after over 25 years, I look back at this stage in my life as a good decision.

Most of my business comes from referrals and it is extremely important to me, that my clients are 100% happy with the service and advice I give them. Having the advantage of speaking several languages has helped me over the years as well.

JOINING RE/MAX

In 1984, I joined Re/Max and since then have been an award winner claiming the highest Re/Max awards. I am also a proud holder of the Re/Max "Hall of Fame Award" also the "Re/Max Platinum Club" and the "Medallion Club" of the Greater Vancouver Real Estate Board, and more recently, REMAX Lifetime achievement award

Many of my clients have successfully created their own "retirement fund" by collecting rental properties and increasing their portfolio on a yearly or bi-yearly basis. The management of these properties is done by a professional property manager, who carefully selects the tenants, and managing the affairs of the revenue properties. 

My area of expertise is Vancouver . If you are looking for area's beyond the Vancouver district, like North or West Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, I can get you in touch with a realtor, who is a specialist in that area.

The price-range I work in varies from $ 100,000 to $ 4.000,000 and up. Residential Real Estate is my main area, not commercial.

BUILDING LONG TERM RELATIONSHIPS

Most commonly, I like to meet my clients face to face, before we start a relationship. The first casual meeting is a perfect opportunity for the prospected client to know who I am, how I work and what to expect in the process of buying or selling.

My buyers like the fact that I can communicate with them (phone, email or fax) on a daily basis, the new listings coming on the market, so they will be the first to know what's happening in the market.  My sellers like to know, what is going on in terms of sales. They also will be informed of the activities.  I make a mission to educate my clients on all aspects of the real estate market inventory, trends, new and upcoming developments, and investment strategies.
