If possible, store excess items with familyu or friends, or if necessary rent a temporary storage unit; the cost of a storage unit is a fraction of what a monthly mortage payment will cost you for every month your home sits on the market.
This will also make for an easier move down the road, just think you will be half-packed!

- Free Standing coat racks and shoe racks
- Table cloths, place mates and doilies

- All items from window sills
- Unhealthy and excess plants
- Bathmats, tank and toilet seat covers

- Family names from the interior and exterior of the home
- Trophies, medals, certificates, etc

- Exotic pets and their housing eg. spiders and snakes
