When Sylvain and Adriaan asked if I would write about my experiences with them, I was honored. After all, it's not often when I can say only good things about someone!
In my case, it wasn't just hiring a local real estate broker; it was hiring someone who I could put my entire trust into because I was/am not a Canadian citizen or a
I had to rely on them - especially Adriaan - to give me advice on much more than buying property. I needed them to tell me how to transfer my funds, who to hire as a manager, an attorney, etc. Whenever there was a problem (no, there weren't many), I knew that I could turn to them for help. They never gave me bad advice, and when I needed them, they were there for me. In less than three years, I have bought two properties - on Adriaan's advice. He never tried to sell me anything outside my limited price range, and worked on my behalf as though I were buying the most expensive properties. But perhaps the most important part of the experience was that they feel like friends to me, which leads me to the saddest part of selling the properties (at a profit, of course). I won't have any more excuses (at least for the time being) to hear Sylvain's and Adriaan's friendly voices and receive their wonderful emails.
